Project description: Antunovich Associates is collaborating with Core Spaces to construct a new state-of-the-art 6-story Student Residence  Development, containing 485 beds, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Located on Red Drew Street, the Hub will enhance the existing residential neighborhood in Tuscaloosa, and will be two blocks east of the beautiful University of Alabama campus and the iconic Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The new building will house a creative mix of studio, one, two, three, four and five bedroom student apartments with 98 beds on a typical upper floor level. The development contains 481 beds within 187 apartment units. Each unit will contain single occupancy bedrooms along with generous living areas. Terraces will be included on some levels to improve certain units and to create interest on the building exterior. The roof terrace of the building will house a state-of-the-art pool. The spectacular amenity area will be located on the third floor. A marvelous lobby will be developed on the ground floor along with a marketing suite. 343 enclosed parking spaces will be located on three levels and 37 on-site and 32 off-site parking locations are provided for a total of 412 parking spaces.

The project is set to be completed in fall 2018.
