Antunovich Associates collaborated with McCaffery Interests to develop 1201 W Lake, a new construction 7 story office building located in the heart of Chicago’s vibrant and booming West Loop Fulton Market District, one block north of Randolph Street. The project was re-zoned under the Type 1 map amendment process and is a City of Chicago Transit Orientated Development, located two blocks from the newly renovated Morgan CTA Green/Pink line stop. The site provides easy access to numerous bus lines, and is minutes from I-90/94 and the Loop.
The building has 128,000 square feet of rentable office space with 24,000 square foot floor plates, a private parking garage, and 12,000 square feet of 1st floor retail with 19’ ceilings.
The building is a contemporary design featuring exposed concrete structure, floor to ceiling glass on all facades, a striking 20 foot high office entry lobby on Racine Avenue, and a 7th floor amenity floor including a lounge, meeting rooms, workout facility, locker rooms and multiple outdoor terraces.
