The Charles Townhomes are designed to evoke Charleston's rich architectural history with intricate exterior facades that feature brick cladding and wrought iron railings. These elements are meticulously designed to blend into Charleston’s historic district, allude to the city’s storied past, and maintain its architectural identity.
Who wouldn't want to walk up to this entryway? The Jasper is a premier residential building located in Charleston, NC where we collaborated with our dear friends at @thebeachcompany.
Situated in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, the 450 W. Belmont development offers just that: stunning views of the lake and the city from unique balconies. The exterior design features floor-to-ceiling glass window wall, metal panel accents, and brick at the podium, giving this development a unique and luxurious presence while still providing a connection to the surrounding neighborhood.

oLiv Auburn is a Student Residental Building located just off the Auburn University campus. This building has 337 residential units and 889 beds. Completed in 2022, the building houses a mix of micro studio, studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, four-bedroom, and five-bedroom units. Spectacular outdoor amenity areas are located on the rooftop, along with a state-of-the-art pool and hot tub. A marvelous lobby, amenities, and leasing center is located on the first floor along Genelda Avenue.
The Orchard is a boutique residential building that was conceived as a modern take on Chicago’s historic Greystone homes. Its uniquely curated designs – from custom fabricated gas lamps and ironwork railings to specially detailed window frames – support the building’s efforts to blend with the timeless atmosphere of the neighborhood.
Douglas Development and Antunovich Associates collaborated on an exciting adaptive reuse project in the heart of Buffalo, New York, called “Police Apartments.” The Police Apartments is an existing police station located at 74 Franklin Street, located directly across the street from the historic Erie County District Attorney’s building. The building structure, exterior façade, roof, and some interior walls were reused to maintain as much of the original, historic fabric as possible.
The British International School of Chicago includes a gymnasium that can accommodate three practice basketball courts, volleyball, and badminton, while also being able to convert to an auditorium for school presentations. The lower level of the building houses a cafeteria, a weight room, music rooms, a design technology center, and other student amenities. There is a rooftop park that includes walking paths, planting areas, and turf that can accommodate large gatherings or events. Additionally, a turf soccer field and an on-grade park across 9th Street provide students and the South Loop neighborhood with a connection to nature.

oLiv Tempe is a Student Residence located near @arizonastateuniversity. The building is 24 stories and 319,148 GSF. Located on the seventh floor are amenity spaces, including fitness & wellness amenities, a collaboration and lounging annex, and an outdoor garden terrace. The pool terrace provides the residents with opportunities to enjoy the sun setting over the surrounding mountains.
@depaulu Arts and Letters Hall, which was designed to blend with the unique residential character of Lincoln Park, features a four-story atrium and a generous courtyard located in the heart of the Campus. Extensive use of brick is used on the exterior facades of the building to ensure that the building is compatible with its neighbors and fits the rich historic vernacular of Lincoln Park.
The Bernardin, located in Chicago, Illinois, recently underwent a renovation from our Interior Design and Procurement Studios. We think it turned out marvelous!

The façade's full height glazing creates a warm and inviting light serving as the plaza's backdrop, visually linking the club's activities to the public. This club reinforces a sense of community for downtown Elmhurst.

The recipient of the 2005 Urban Land Institute Award of Excellence, The Market Common Clarendon is a unique mixed-use development located within the greater Washington D.C. area. Clarendon was once a significant retail and residential hub, but anchor stores such as JCPenney, Sears, and others relocated from the area, and Clarendon lost its retail appeal. Similarly, its appeal as a residential area lagged the growth spurt experienced just over the Key Bridge.
As Hilton’s first tri-brand property, the three brands located within the Hiltons at McCormick Place, (Hilton Garden Inn, Home2Suites, and Hampton Inn) share support facilities on the first three floors along Michigan Avenue and East Cermak Road, including dining areas, a fitness center, a pool, and meeting rooms. In addition, this property won the 2018 ALIS Development of the year award!

Hub Champaign houses a creative mix of studio, one, two, three, four bed and five bed student apartments with 68 beds and 31 units on a typical residential floor level. Courtyards are included at the sixth level to improve certain units and to provide outdoor amenity spaces. Spectacular amenity areas are located on the 13th floor along with a roof terrace that houses a state-of-the-art pool and hot tub. A lobby and leasing center are located on the 1st floor on 6th Street.

The Robey Chicago transformed and revitalized two historic buildings in Chicago's Wicker Park/Bucktown neighborhood, the North West Tower and the Hollander Fireproof Warehouse, contributing to federal and local historic districts.
The Robey Chicago includes a ground-level diner, three retail spaces, and two rooftop bars providing expansive city skyline views. Each building has a distinct aesthetic that creatively interprets the original functions and design of the interior spaces. The Robey adds a contemporary touch to a material palette that alludes to the late 1920s when the structure was constructed as an office building.

We are collaborating with May Riegler Properties to renovate the George Mason Hotel building at 699 Prince St., which was converted to office use in the 1990s and will revert to a boutique hotel. Amenities include a library lounge, meeting rooms, a restaurant with a show kitchen and café, a ballroom, a rooftop terrace, and a speakeasy.
Our work at the Trico Apartments in Buffalo, New York includes the Interior Design and FF&E Procurement of the 500,000-square-foot, former windshield wiper plant at 791 Washington Street.
Hub College Park is adjacent to the beautiful University of Maryland Campus. This development enhances the existing neighborhood and provides a much-needed residential option in the area.

Following the construction of the renovated Fullerton CTA Station, the DePaul University Art Museum is the first of many upgrades to the surrounding area.
The generous square footage of the building provides expansive exhibition space, as well as options for more intimate collections. Placing DePaul University’s museum facilities to a nexus of pedestrian traffic encourages cultural exchange between the university and its community. The building’s exterior reflects the architecture of the nearby Seminary Avenue townhomes and continues the aesthetic tradition of the neighborhood’s unique character.

The new 612 Center Street Multi-Family Residential Development will include 190 Residential Units on five floors above two on-grade parking levels. The new Multi-Family Residential Building is located just blocks from the beautiful University of Arkansas Campus. An elegant central lobby, amenities, and a fitness center will face Center Street. Ample parking will be provided within two levels of the Building, with parking for 279 cars. HERE Atlanta is a 29 story Student Residential Building that contains communal spaces for students such as open style seating areas, quiet study areas, gaming areas, a golf-simulator, indoor & outdoor dining, fitness areas. This 368 unit building is near Georgia Institute of Technology.

Hub Lexington Limestone brings a contemporary modern design incorporating brick, corrugated metal, and wood-look aluminum to a major arterial intersection, announcing itself through use of a folded “feature frame” that also acts as a canopy on the roof terrace.
The mixed-use building includes six retail spaces on the ground floor, and world-class amenities including Lexington’s largest roof-top pool, study spaces, double-height lobby/lounge, and a club room with adjacent courtyards including grilling stations.

To better serve the needs of its world-class program, the University of Southern California enlisted our help to upgrade the track and field facilities on their Los Angeles campus. The project includes the modernization of the existing 4,720 SF locker rooms and the construction of a new 8,484 SF building.
The new structure provides offices for staff, a multipurpose meeting room that connects directly to the track, a roof deck overlooking the stadium, and the USC Track and Field Hall of Fame. This commemorative display is part of a grand, two-story entry that welcomes visitors and introduces them to some of the university’s most distinguished athletes.
Located at the foot of the central business district, The Gateway will act as a catalyst for future urban development throughout Lackawanna, New York. The Gateway at Lackawanna will engage the community through a series of urban expressions. With commercial space on the first level and residential above, The Gateway aims to attract not only the city of Lackawanna but also the surrounding communities.
The College / Academy / Buncombe Residential Building is an exciting new multi-family residential building in Greenville, South Carolina. The building will create an elegant architectural anchor at this important location on the new Cultural Corridor. The building will have a sophisticated lobby located fronting College Street and retail space on the first floor fronting College Street. The Building will include a full complement of residential amenities, including a roof-top terrace with a pool, meeting facilities, exercise area, and bicycle storage and repair.

Hub Los Angeles Coliseum is a 7 story Student Residential Building near the University of Southern California. The building houses a mix of studio, one, two, three, and four bedroom student apartments with 36 bedrooms on a typical upper floor level. The third floor terrace of the building houses a state-of-the-art pool. The spectacular amenity areas are also be located on the third floor. A lobby, along with a marketing suite are located on the ground floor.
oLiv Auburn is an off campus student residence near the Auburn University campus. This project was completed in 2022 and is a mix of micro studio, studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, four-bedroom, and five-bedroom units.
Lincoln Common is a mixed-use development located on the six-acre site of the former Children’s Memorial Hospital. This unique one million SF project consists of 540 apartments, a condominium building of 32 units, a 150 room senior living facility, and over 100,000 SF of retail in both new construction and repurposed significant historic buildings.

The new 609 West Randolph Office Building has a striking 20-foot high office entry lobby and provides state-of-the-art boutique office spaces with expansive glazing that offers unique views for all tenants. An amenity floor at the top of the building includes a lounge, meeting rooms, a workout facility, locker rooms, and an outdoor terrace for use by all tenants.

One Oak Brook Commons sits directly adjacent to a new public park named The Pitch. The project offers an elevated resort-style amenity deck featuring a heated pool, cabanas, outdoor kitchens, a public lawn, a high-end private fitness center, a club room, a library, an expansive dog run, modern package facilities, and significant bicycle storage.

Antunovich Associates was tasked with re-imagining the amenities spaces for Carrington at Barker Cypress, a multi-family residential community with townhome-style apartments. The bustling area, just north of Houston’s thriving business sector and the Energy Corridor, inspired the design aesthetic. The design juxtaposed refined and industrial materials, rich textures, mixed metals, and locally-inspired artwork to create modern, hospitality-style lounge areas and communal spaces. The Interior and Procurement Design Studios worked closely with the client, Waterton, to optimize the resident experience in the clubhouse, fitness center, pool area, and apartment units.
Uline Arena is located in the NoMa neighborhood of Washington, D.C. This site was occupied by two historic buildings: The Uline Arena building, home to the first live Beatles performance in the United States in 1964, and the Icehouse Building, a significant masonry building originally used to create the ice for skating and ice hockey events at the Uline Arena.

University Club of Chicago redeveloped the seventh floor and rooftop of the historic Ascher Building, contributing to the Historic Michigan Boulevard District. The project is connected to the historic Clubhouse at 76 East Monroe Street and allocates approximately 4,300 SF of enclosed gathering/restaurant space on the new roof. A nearly 1,375 SF East Terrace overlooks Millennium Park, and a roughly 1,100 SF West Terrace is open to the sky.
oLiv Madison is a ten-story student housing project located at the corner of Gorham Street and State Street near the @universityofwisconsin_madison campus. Outdoor amenity areas are provided at the rooftops, including a pool, hot tub, and lounge spaces, all within extensively landscaped areas.

The 739-755 North Wells Planned Development is an exciting new mixed-use multi-family development planned for a 22,497 square foot site in the vibrant River North Neighborhood of Chicago. The Leo, located at 741 North Wells Street, will include 201,274 gross square feet on 21 floors. The residential tower will create an elegant architectural corner at the intersection of Chicago Avenue and Wells Street at this critical River North location. An existing three-floor retail/office building anchors this important corner. An elegant lobby is located on the first floor fronting Wells Street. The building will include a full complement of common amenities, including a rooftop terrace with a pool, meeting facilities, an exercise area, bicycle storage, and parking for roughly 50 vehicles.

During my summer internship at Antunovich Associates, I had the pleasure of working with an incredible team of talented individuals. I learned an extensive amount in using Revit to create drawing sets, as well as building detailed SketchUp models to produce rendered massing and facade iterations for the clients. Being a part of the CORE Spaces team at the firm gave me the opportunity to work on multi-family housing projects and focus on apartment layouts. It is because of this exposure that I learned I have an intense passion for this sector of architecture and want to follow it after graduating. Without a doubt, this is my biggest takeaway from my experience at Antunovich and I am very thankful for the marvelous opportunity!

Located less than one block from the beautiful University of Illinois Campus, The Hub at Champaign / 6th and Daniel enhances the existing neighborhood and creates a powerful retail presence along Daniel Street.
The new building houses a creative mix of studio, one, two, three, four-bed, and five-bed student apartments with 68 beds and 31 units on a typical residential floor level.
