Developed by Vista Property Group, 640 West Randolph introduces a contemporary office building to a prominent corner site at the intersection of Randolph and Des Plaines Streets in Chicago’s West Loop Gate. Designed by Antunovich Associates, the 16-story development delivers boutique office space above ground-floor retail and lobby areas, contributing a refined commercial presence to one of the city’s most active mixed-use corridors. A dramatic office lobby along Randolph Street establishes a welcoming arrival experience while activating the pedestrian environment at the street level. The building also includes a full complement of tenant-focused amenities, including meeting and dining spaces, fitness facilities, bicycle storage and repair areas, outdoor terraces, and a rooftop deck with expansive views of the downtown skyline.



The architectural design draws from the industrial loft character of the surrounding West Loop while expressing a contemporary and technology-forward workplace environment. The building reinterprets the neighborhood’s warehouse vernacular through a modern composition of expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing, articulated metal detailing, and generous ceiling heights that maximize daylight and views for tenants.
